About

I’m a Sydney-based cinematographer, photographer, and proud First Nations Lama Lama man, working across advertising, documentary and branded content.

My approach is informed by years of working within First Nations media and community environments, where cultural context, trust and authenticity are central to the work.

Much of my experience has been working within the First Nations media and community space, creating films and content alongside Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

This has shaped the way I approach storytelling — with an understanding of cultural context, community engagement and the responsibility that comes with working with people’s stories.

It’s an experience I bring to every production, whether I’m working within the First Nations space or beyond it.

My role often extends beyond cinematography.

I have extensive experience working across creative development and production — from developing ideas and treatments, through planning and pre-production, to shooting and delivering the finished film.

Working within an agency environment has given me a broad understanding of how creative ideas need to translate into practical productions — balancing creative ambition with people, resources, budgets and timelines.

I work closely with directors, agencies, clients, contributors and production teams to create work that feels considered and authentic — while keeping the process practical, organised and enjoyable.
