HEALTHY DEADLY KIDS

A short documentary film about Healthy Deadly Kids, a First Nations-led health and wellbeing program working with communities across the Shoalhaven region of New South Wales.

Created for the Australian Bureau of Statistics, the film explores the connection between the Australian Census and the community programs and services that rely on accurate population data.

Through local voices, community stories and observational imagery, the film highlights how Census data helps inform initiatives that respond to the needs and priorities of First Nations communities.

Jake Keane directed, shot and edited the film, working with Healthy Deadly Kids and local community members across the Shoalhaven region.
